SANDUSKY BAY ICE HAULERS TO MAKE A COMEBACK TO THE LAKE IN 2022

SANDUSKY, OH –– The Sandusky Bay Ice Haulers have released their Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League schedule for the 2022 season. The team will feature baseball players from 18 colleges throughout 8 states. Over the season, the Ice Haulers will be playing 19 games in the Sandusky park and 19 away games at various locations throughout both Ohio and Michigan.
After finishing as the North Division Champions, the Ice Haulers have a few returning faces to the 2022 roster, Dom Magliocca (right-handed outfielder) & Luke Lashutka (right-handed pitcher). In addition to the two returners, the Ice Haulers will have 12 players with hometowns in the local area.
“We are excited for another year to prove what we as a team can do” commented General Manager, Ray Neill. “These players and staff are ready to push for another winning season”.
With the upcoming season, the Ice Haulers are planning on implementing theme nights including a kid’s program, “The Mini Haulers” during the games for a more immersive experience for the fans. The 2022 campaign will start June 7th as the Ice Haulers take on the Lima Locos from Lima, Ohio at Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center.
Training begins for the team on June 6th with the home opener being June 7th. BSCN and 92.9 WLKR will continue to make appearances on the field streaming the action during 19 home stands. Games will be $5 and open to the public. Single game tickets and season passes can be purchased online on the Ice Haulers website or at the gate.
Media Day for the team will take place on Monday, June 6th between 10AM - 12PM at Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center, Field 3.
