The Clippers took the lead in the second inning due to an AJ Miranda and N. Phillips doubles that advanced runners home along with T. Nielsen advancing to first on an error from the third baseman. The two hits and two runs on the inning gave the Clippers the lead and they continued to lead for the remainder of the game.
.
Sandusky Bay opened up their scoring in the fourth inning. Josh Kross, third basemen, hit a double to right field and advanced home from a Mason Montgomery single. Montgomery picked up the RBI for the run.
.
Mason Montgomery tried to rally for a comeback in the seventh inning stretch with a single to begin the inning. Jacob Armsey, shortstop, hit a two-run homerun to bring in Adam Brauch and conclude the scoring for the Ice Haulers.
.
Key Highlights from Sunday’s match-up include Mason Montgomery going two for three at the plate with two singles and Adam Brauch going two for two at the plate.
