Sandusky Bay Ice Haulers on a 2 Game Winning Streak

The Sandusky Bay Ice Haulers took down Jetbox Baseball Club in game two of their three game series 3-0. The Ice Haulers got off to an early 1-0 start in the second inning when Michael Pollard, Sophomore at Saint Peter’s University, batted in Dom Magliocca, Sophomore at Miami University.

Defensively the Ice Haulers held JetBox Baseball Club to only five hits and no runs scored. Cameron Darrington, Freshman at Owens Community College, tallied three strikeouts in his four innings pitched earning the win on the mound for the Ice Haulers. Owen Kovacs, Junior at East Tennessee State University, came in for some relief, pitching three innings and tallying four strikeouts.

Nathan Archer, Sophomore at Bowling Green State University, kept the scoring alive for the Ice Haulers in the eighth inning batting in Michael Pollard.

The Ice Haulers will be back in action tomorrow afternoon to complete the three game series against JetBox Baseball Club. First Pitch is set for 5PM.
