Sandusky Bay had more players in the all-star game than any other team in the league, this year. There were seven total Ice Haulers that made the North All-Star Team, with two alternates.
Landon Smiddy (Sophomore, East Tennessee State University) got to participate in the first inning, obtaining two strikeouts. Grayson Thurman (Senior, Lynchburg College) participated in the second inning. He contained a strikeout in his inning of work, as well.
Zachary Campbell (Senior, Tiffin University) was walked four times in his five plate appearances, scoring three runs for the North All-Stars. He also had a stolen base.
Jordan Andrade (Freshman, University of Nevada Las Vegas) had a great performance defensively, at shortstop. He also had a big hit in one of his at-bats.
Mark Connelly (Sophomore, Lansing Community College) was active in the last five innings and showed great defensive skills at the third-base position.
Scott Mackiewicz (Freshman, University of Toledo) went 2-3, with two RBIs, two runs, and two stolen bases.
The North All-Stars would win the ten-inning game, with a score of 11-5. Scott Mackiewicz was honored with the All-Star MVP award, with his outstanding performance.
