HOLDERBACH WINS GLSCL Player of the Week
As the Ice Haulers rapped up their second week of the season, the Ice Hauler first baseman, Drew Holderbach (Senior, Marietta College) achieved the GLSCL week two Player of the Week.
The Ice Hauler first baseman improved his batting average, going 12-27. Holderbach also hit two home runs, driving in nine RBIs during the week.
“It feels great to be a part of this league, and this team. More importantly we are winning games, after a slow start. Everybody is improving. I am honored for this award, and I hope to keep improving as everyone else,” Holderbach said.
Drew Holderbach currently is continuing to be one of the best hitters in the league, as he finished the week second in hits. He also finished the week tied for third in home runs and RBIs.
