SANDUSKY BAY ICE HAULERS to Make their 2023 Return to the lake

SANDUSKY, OH –– The Sandusky Bay Ice Hauler’s have released their Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League schedule for the upcoming 2023 season. Thirty eight games will be played during the regular season, nineteen of those games are to be played at the Ice Hauler’s home field, Field #3 at Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center.
This season’s team is comprised of over twenty players from fourteen different colleges. There are a few players on this season’s team that play together in college, we are very excited for them to come down here and be a part of the Ice Haulers. Three familiar faces that will be coming back to the field this season, first baseman Eli Snider, outfielder Mikey Pollard, and left handed pitcher Bobby Perebzak.
This summer will be filled with baseball, laughter, and fun times. Each home stand will be themed to encourage fan participation. This season will also welcome the first annual Sandusky Bay Ice Hauler Camp. Held June 19th, 20th, and 21st for grades 2nd-8th will be filled with hitting, pitching, and fielding all taught by the Ice Hauler players. More information regarding the camp will be released soon.
BSCN and 92.9 WLKR will continue to make appearances on the field streaming the action during the 19 home stands. Games will be $5 and open to the public. Single game tickets and season passes can be purchased online on the Ice Haulers website or at the gate. Opening day for the Ice Haulers will be on June 6th at 7 p.m. against the Lima Locos.
