Nelson and H. Jatczak who also singled to load the bases for the Monarchs. C. Coleman advanced to first for the Monarchs, bringing in two runs to close out the inning with the lead. . Unfortunately for the Ice Haulers, the Monarchs swung harder and faster in the second inning with a demanding eight runs on the board. The Monarchs recorded eight runs, five hits, and six RBI’s for the inning. . The Ice Haulers subbed in Jacob Krausher, Sophomore at the University of Akron, to pitch for some relief and close out the scoring from the Monarchs. Krausher tallied one strikeout in his one inning pitched and Alec Mendoza (starting pitcher), Senior at Notre Dame College, tallied one strikeout in his two innings pitched. .
